large colonies, individual cages - this setup is designed for a large number of subjects (32 or more), each housed in a cage. Typically, studies involve 30 to 200 subjects simultaneously.

To cope with this number of subjects, the setup uses ToE (telemetry-over-Ethernet) technology, which permits:

• tasks such as acquisition and data backup can be programmed
• monitoring of any signal in real time, from any workstation
• analysis of any acquisition file on any workstation
• dynamic real-time frequency allocation

This setup is well suited for large installations of more than 32 animals in individually cages in several pens.
